  Try to learn how to delay your gratification, the sooner you will learn the sooner you will find it easy to keep your finances in order.   Do not buy items on credit, try to save money for this, why pay interest and lose your money. Interestingly, it's like a bleeding wound.   Make a habit not to use your credit card, I'll give advice to cut them all  :) . Try to be a producer and not a consumer and save more money.   Make a habit not to spend money try at least to wait 24 hours before the purchase, and think again. Also think about how much you worked for it, you might end up thinking that that's a lot of hours to work for something you do not really need. Before shopping make a list and stick to it, this really helps to control you from spending money. There are  a lot of phone apps for this like CheckList etc.

1. Start a side hustle    For me, starting a freelance business on the side of my full-time job was the quickest way to see the results I wanted.
